Today we began a study of the geography of the Arabian Peninsula. Students worked with the student next to them to answer questions (assignment #3, Student Handout 1.1A, Deserts and Oases) about life in ancient Arabia. I showed them images of the peninsula etc. via a PowerPoint presentation.
